Account settings¶
On the account page you can change your password and view your profile information.
Overview¶
- Change password
- View name, email, role, department (read-only here)
Note: Everyone can open Account from the profile menu. You can only change your own password.

Change password¶
- Enter new password
- Confirm
- Save
Requirements
- At least 8 characters
- Both fields must match
Validation runs before save. On success you stay signed in; the new password applies for future sign-ins.
Profile fields¶
Displayed (changes only by admins/managers elsewhere):
- Name, email, role, department
Security¶
- Use a unique, strong password
- Do not reuse passwords from other services
- Sign out on shared devices
Sign out¶
Profile → Sign out — session ends; you must sign in again.
Common issues¶
Password too short / mismatch¶
Meet the length requirement and match both fields.
“Too many requests”¶
Wait about a minute between repeated password changes.
FAQ¶
Forgot password from the sign-in page?¶
Use Forgot password? on the login page.
Change someone else’s password?¶
Not from here — admins can trigger a reset email for other users.
Still signed in after change?¶
Yes — current session stays active; new password is for next login.
