Check-in and check-out¶
Check-in and check-out let employees record when their shifts start and end, so actual working time is captured accurately.
Overview¶
- Simple check-in — One click to start your shift
- Simple check-out — One click to end your shift
- Automatic times — Times are stored automatically
- Visible in the calendar — Check-in/out appear on the shift
- Re-check-in — You can check in again after checking out if you made a mistake

- The button shows a “log in” style icon
After check-in¶
- Check-in time is saved
- The button switches to Check out
- The icon changes to “log out”
- Your check-in time appears on the shift as

Check-out¶

→and←times
Check in again¶
After check-out you can check in again. You may see a confirmation: you are already checked out for the current shift — confirm if you really want to check in again.
Warning: Your current check-in time will be overwritten.
Use case: You checked out by mistake.
Multiple shifts on the same day¶
The system picks the shift for the check-in button using these priorities:
- A shift you are already checked into (checked in, not yet checked out)
- A shift that is currently in progress (now is between start and end)
- The shift whose start time is nearest to the current time
Example: Shifts 08:00–12:00 and 12:00–16:00 — at 11:30 the 08:00 shift is used because it is still in progress.
