Reports and analytics

Reports give insight into shift data and help you improve planning.

Overview

The reports dashboard shows:

  • Hours per employee — Totals for the selected month
  • Total hours this week — Sum of planned hours
  • Other metrics — Depending on your configuration

Note: Only administrators and managers have access.

Open reports

  1. Reports in the sidebar
  2. The dashboard loads

Department filter

  • Administrators: Choose a department or “All departments”
  • Managers: Automatically limited to their department (no dropdown)

Hours per employee

Table columns:

  • Name
  • Department
  • Total hours — For the selected month

Month selector — Change month; the table updates.

Sort — Click column headers (hours or name).

Total hours this week

Shows the sum of planned hours for the selected week (respecting the department filter).

Interpreting the data

  • High hours — Many shifts assigned
  • Low hours — Fewer shifts
  • Use comparisons across weeks/months for trends

Export and print

  • Export when available for spreadsheets
  • Print — Use the browser print dialog on the dashboard

Tips

  • Review reports regularly
  • Compare weeks and months
  • Filter by department to compare teams

FAQ

How fresh is the data?

Updates are effectively real time when shifts change.

Historical months?

Yes — pick any available month.

Deleted shifts?

Removed or cancelled shifts are not counted like active planned shifts.

Multiple months at once?

The dashboard focuses on one month or one week at a time; switch periods to compare.
